Tasks and Responsibilities

In the field of mechanical and plant engineering, industrial mechanics (m/f/d) assemble components into assemblies and machines based on work documents.

They process components mechanically and manually or manufacture them themselves if necessary.

They check both assemblies directly upon completion and fully assembled machines at test stands for functionality and then put them into operation.

In addition, they also perform regular inspections and maintain the machines.

Industrial mechanics (m/f/d) in the field of mechanical and plant engineering work in the industrial sector, for example in mechanical engineering companies as well as in maintenance, repair, and service departments of various industrial companies.

Their workplace can be a workshop, assembly hall, test stand, or construction site.
