We, the MITI research group, are a research group located at the University Hospital rechts der Isar and have been dealing with application-oriented scientific questions in the field of medical technology for 25 years with the aim of making the work of doctors easier and improving the quality of treatment for patients through innovative concepts.

We not only use comprehensive expertise and the latest techniques in medical technology development, but also benefit from daily exchange between research and application.

MITI stands for innovative medical technology at the cutting edge and at the scene of the action.


To work on the DFG project "Further development of a micro-invasive, size-scalable anastomosis system" (CONNEXT), we are currently looking for a scientific employee (m/f/d) to strengthen our team.

The project duration is 24 months, with the possibility of a doctorate in an engineering discipline (Dr. Ing.) through the Technical University of Munich and excellent opportunities for follow-up projects and a long-term scientific career. Payment is based on the TV-L collective agreement according to professional experience.
