Overview:

This is an overnight position in which you are required to stay awake.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated male Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

This is a paid position with opportunities for career advancement.

Duties:

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including dressing and grooming.
Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
Engage in meaningful conversation and provide emotional support to clients
Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role preferred
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client's privacy
Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes
Must pass a background check
