Through your passion and motivation, you sell memorable experience to guests who stay in your property. You are professional and knowledgeable about your property, and you build strong relationships and create bond with your guests.

What you will be doing:
- Handle all aspects of Sales for groups of 40 or more rooms peak night.
- Develop and maintain customer base in all markets.
- Exceed personal sales goals, monthly, quarterly, annually, through account development and maintenance.
- Responsible for yield.
- Attend Sales Meetings, office events, hotelsponsored functions, industry functions.
- Develop lead sources and rapport with key personnel, Fairmont Global Sales Office sellers and assigned client base.
- Coordinate and financially manage sales trips, FAM Trips and conventions within the given territory, including reports or activity pertaining to the specific market.
- Supervise an assistant, training activity, reviews and goal setting.
- Assist in the planning and strategies of the Group Sales effort.
- Maintain active membership in industry related organizations and associations pertaining to the specific market.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Relevant sales experience is an asset
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Highly responsible & reliable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
