    Role Overview:


    We are searching for a highly motivated, high achieving, experienced Life Sciences Business Development professional to join our Intellectual Property and Research & Development team.

    The ideal candidate is a results-oriented, strategic hunter of net-new logos and revenue, as well as a proven track record in cross selling across functions in existing clients.

    You will be educating your assigned territory on the power of Evalueserve while also ensuring we can deliver on the client's needs and have a long relationship.

    You will be managing executive-level relationships, working deals intro to close and negotiating 5 to 6 figure contracts regularly.


    To be successful in this role, you must be able to comprehend the intricacies of selling services B2B to highly discerning clients at the executive and C-level.

    You will have to predictably move deals through the sales cycle, manage your pipeline, forecast sales activity, keep up with industry trends, understand the competitive landscape, drill into customer needs, execute outreach campaigns and hit your quota.

    Important responsibilities in this role will include:

    • Building relationships at the executive level and running a sales cycle to close and beyond
    • Engaging target clients in the core solution areas of IP, R&D and Strategic Innovation
    • Generating new business opportunities and building a portfolio of routine client business
    • Excellent listening skills and the ability to sell through objections creatively
    • Travel as required (up to ~40-50% when allowed)
    • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Evalueserve's value proposition. Use this knowledge, combined with the client's needs, to drive sales opportunities further through the funnel
    • Achievement of a sales quota and KPIs
    • Work in a collaborative team environment - ideate with colleagues on best practices and share successes
    • Consistent and effective use of CRM
    • Planning and execution of client outreach campaigns - expansion and new logos
    • Staying actively involved in projects to make certain each project is progressing properly

    Skills we're looking for:

    • Experience in solution selling into the Life Sciences domain (Preferred)
    * years of sales and business development experience

    • Experience selling IP solutions, patent solutions, innovation/research services, or technology preferred
    • Target 3 face-to-face/virtual client meetings per week with expectation to rise to 3-5
    • 5+ years of experience selling at C/Exec level within F1000 accounts
    • Entrepreneurial spirit - a self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills
    • Experience developing and managing a $1M+ sales pipeline
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent MS Office skills
    • Honesty, integrity, and pure motivation to identify success even in failure
