Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting.


Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
• Load and unload items from the vehicle
• Ensure all items are properly secured for transportation
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering items in a timely manner and with a friendly attitude
• Collect payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate delivery records
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues or malfunctions
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to lift heavy objects (80lbs) and perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus
• Experience operating forklifts or other equipment is an asset
