About the Role

WildBrain CPLG is looking for a Licensing Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Licensing. The Licensing Coordinator is a skilled organizer and self-starter who can undertake a variety of day-to-day Product Development, Administrative, and Sales tasks. You will be an integral part of ensuring that our business processes and operations run smoothly and are proactive in supporting all business growth activities.

  • Assist with maintaining daytoday flow of product submissions by collaborating closely with Head of Product Development on product approvals and relay feedback to licensees
  • Create layouts / Trend Boards with strong typography and appropriate use of color, images and fonts, allowing for readability and clear action in communication decks
  • Responsible for organizing and keeping track of all Product Development samples, assets and various materials
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure the highest quality support for creative needs including trend studies, brainstorms, storyboards, product mockups, and design communication tools that communicate visually to support business objectives.
  • Manage project and partner timelines while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Troubleshoot approvals issues and creative needs
  • Support Sales team with conducting licensee business reviews and creating licensor business updates
  • Liaise with finance to ensure forecasts and royalty reports are finalized and received in a timely manner
  • Offer administrative support such as scheduling Licensee and Licensor outreach, maintain the Licensee Tracker, take meeting notes, and other tasks as appropriate
  • Update licensee lists by brand on a monthly basis
  • Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with style guides in licensing, marketing, advertising, or brand is required.
  • Knowledge of Hardlines and Softlines categories and the defining characteristics for each
  • Ability to manipulate graphics, create hierarchy layouts, recolor graphics, retouch graphics and create product mockups.
  • Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills, with the ability to collaborate within a complex structure
  • An inventive, creative team player with a pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Proactive attitude, identifying what needs to be done and providing solutions
  • High attention to detail while managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, to deliver impactful presentations
  • Computer software skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, In Design
  • Bachelor's Degree in a designrelated field, an asset
