Job Summary and Qualifications:
:
Evaluates the respiratory needs of patients. Develops and implements the Respiratory Care Plan based upon Clinical Practice Guidelines. You are expected to smile
- Completion of an AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred
- Minimum one year experience in clinical respiratory therapy preferred
- Current Florida state license. CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) certification through the NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support); or BLS, ACLS, PALS Instructor, all cards issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required. New hire/transfer into higher skill level must obtain within 6 months. Required to work under ACLS credentialed Therapist until training certificate obtained.
- Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required. New hire/transfer into higher skill level must obtain within 6 months. Required to work under PALS credentialed Therapist until training
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required. New hire/transfer into higher skill level must obtain within 6 months. Required to work under NPR credentialed Therapist until training certificate obtained.
