As a Fleet Manager with SkyHop Global, you'll play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of our company vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance.

From scheduled maintenance to policy development and budget management, your contributions will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards of service.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Enhancing the efficiency and costeffectiveness of our fleet management system, implementing necessary improvements.
  • Monitoring and updating records within our fleet tracking systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Supervising vehicle repairs and maintenance to uphold safety standards and maximize fleet uptime.
  • Managing preventive maintenance programs and maintaining accurate service records.
  • Overseeing the coordination, planning, and scheduling of all repair work to minimize downtime.
  • Maintaining electronic databases for sales, registration, inspections, and maintenance, ensuring seamless fleet management.
  • Researching and developing specifications for vehicles, equipment, and supplies.
  • Negotiating repair costs and parts pricing with vendors to optimize budget utilization.
  • Ensuring compliance with national, regional, and company regulations in all fleet management activities.
  • Streamlining fuel purchase systems and monitoring expenses using WEX cards for all vehicles and drivers.
  • Developing and implementing operational standards to maintain vehicles according to industry best practices.
  • Collaborating with station managers to ensure fleet readiness with safety equipment in all weather conditions.

Requirements:

Knowledge of methods, techniques and procedures involved in maintenance repairs and replacement. Knowledge of an automated Fleet Management Information System

  • Samsara a plus.
Ability to coordinate programs, prepare reports and maintain accurate records.

Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Knowledge of Local, state and Federal compliance, regulations and DOT guidelines.
