Position:

Front Office Assistant Manager


Description:


The Front Office Assistant Manager is responsible for providing guidance and leadership over the Front Desk Operations on a day-to-day basis.

They are to ensure each front office personnel are following the standard operating procedures for their position and facilitates/enforces training where needed.

The Front Office Assistant Manager is also to reinforce excellent customer service and satisfaction by handling customer concerns or issues as they arise.

The Front Office Assistant Manager assists the Front Office Manager with additional administrative responsibilities as they are assigned.

  • This position works primarily nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:


  • Manager On Duty Reports
  • House Status Reports for Next Day, End of Day, Next Day Projections
  • Perform Check in/out evaluations.
  • Service Recovery Issues
  • Blocking Rooms for Next Day Arrivals
  • Keep track of VIP Listings
  • Ensure the VIPs' Amenities are delivered.
  • Settle Housekeeping discrepancies
  • Ensure Departures have in fact Departed.
  • Print and Keep track of Gift Certificates & Gift Cards
  • Keep Front Desk stacked and Let FOMs know when things need to be replenished.
  • Lost and Found (Retrieving, Calling Guests Back, and Sending Back)
  • File Check Lists and cashier slips.
  • Enforce SOPs and Policies for Front Office
  • Assist in Training Meetings
  • Mentor and Develop personnel.
  • Receive Call Outs for Staff and relate to FOM(s)
  • Work Front Desk PM Shift
  • Checking FD Communication Log and ensuring each FOP is initialing.
  • Assist with Bell Man/Valet/Driving when needed.
  • Enforce Transportation Log SOPs
  • Keep track of trends that need training or reinforcement training.
  • Provide initial counseling for personnel issues.
  • Any additional tasks provided to them by the FOMs.
  • Track inventory amenity and post on guest's billing screen.
  • May be responsible for overnights shifts.

Skills:


  • Excellent oral and written skills.
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to determine a course of action based on guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability and willingness to pass a drug screening test and background check.
  • Ability to work nights, primarily 2p11pm. Expected to work during the week and weekends.
