Description

Junction is looking for a Training Surgical Assistant (m/f/d) to join our team. As a surgical assistant in a hospital, you will support the surgical team before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

Preparation of the operating room: You will ensure that the operating room is properly prepared before the procedure. This includes checking and providing all necessary instruments, equipment, and consumables.

Patient preparation: You will assist in preparing the patient for surgery by helping with positioning, covering the patient in a sterile manner, and ensuring all necessary documents and information are available.

Assistance during surgery: Your tasks during the procedure will range from supporting the surgeon in handling instruments to providing additional materials and documenting the process.

Instrument processing: After the surgery, you will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing the instruments and equipment used to ensure they are ready for the next use.

Documentation: You will also be responsible for documenting relevant information during the surgical process, including the course of the operation, materials used, and any complications.
