Role Overview:
As the Bookstore Manager, you'll lead our operations, overseeing staff, merchandising, finances, customer service, inventory, and business operations. Your role is pivotal in ensuring an exceptional customer experience, driving sales, and fostering a positive work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, schedule, and provide feedback to bookstore staff.
• Collaborate to create captivating displays and promotions.
• Manage budget, track sales, and ensure accountability for targets.
• Oversee POS systems to optimize business functions.
• Develop sales strategies and coordinate events and campaigns.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory, track trends, and maintain accurate ordering and pricing.
• Establish security, safety measures, and operational procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and inform business decisions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of retail/general management experience.
• Expertise in staff management, inventory control, and merchandising.
• Strong financial acumen and achieving sales goals.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problemsolving skills.
• Passion for books and exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Detailoriented with adaptability to changing priorities.
