Description
We are currently seeking a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer to join our team in Clifton, Munich. This is a hybrid role, with the option to work 2-3 days a week in our central Munich office. The salary for this position is up to €140,000, with the opportunity for stock options.

We are a Series C database business, and we are expanding our team due to a rebuild of our core keyvalue store.


As a Senior SRE/DevOps Engineer, you will be working on a large distributed system built on GoLang, EKS, and Amazon.

Our team consists of both Software Engineers and DevOps Engineers, and we are looking for someone with knowledge of GoLang and experience with Kubernetes to help us build new golang operators and support our software engineers.

You will also be responsible for working on the core control plane.


In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be involved in making core infrastructure changes, such as rebuilding our container orchestration using GoLang and Kubernetes, as well as rebuilding our Kubernetes runtime and implementing autoscaling.

We are open to candidates with experience in any programming language, including Python, C++, and Golang.

Other responsibilities include increasing the performance and scalability of our core product, working deeply in the database, and implementing a service mesh.

You will also be part of the on-call rotation during work hours.
