Colleague is currently looking for an Irrigation Manager in the Houston, TX area The Irrigation Manager will be working for an upscale Residential Landscape company.

This would be a full-time, direct hire opportunity.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop irrigation plans and designs tailored to each project's unique requirements, considering factors such as plant types, soil composition, and water conservation principles.
  • Lead a team of irrigation technicians in the installation, programming, and testing of irrigation systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of existing irrigation systems to identify inefficiencies, leaks, or malfunctions, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Monitor weather patterns and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly to optimize water usage and minimize runoff.
  • Collaborate with landscape designers, horticulturists, and other team members to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly into overall landscape designs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in irrigation management, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance our services.

Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in irrigation management, with a proven track record of designing and overseeing irrigation systems for upscale residential and commercial properties.
  • Strong knowledge of irrigation principles, including hydraulics, water distribution, and pump systems.
  • Proficiency in irrigation design software such as AutoCAD, RainCAD, or similar programs.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with clients and colleagues.
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Pay:
$75, $95,000.00 per year
