Job Description:

Colleague is currently looking for an Irrigation Manager in the Houston, TX area The Irrigation Manager will be working for an upscale Residential Landscape company.

This would be a full-time, direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Develop irrigation plans and designs tailored to each project's unique requirements, considering factors such as plant types, soil composition, and water conservation principles.
Lead a team of irrigation technicians in the installation, programming, and testing of irrigation systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of existing irrigation systems to identify inefficiencies, leaks, or malfunctions, and implement corrective measures as needed.
Monitor weather patterns and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly to optimize water usage and minimize runoff.
Collaborate with landscape designers, horticulturists, and other team members to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly into overall landscape designs.
Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in irrigation management, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance our services.

Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in irrigation management, with a proven track record of designing and overseeing irrigation systems for upscale residential and commercial properties.
Strong knowledge of irrigation principles, including hydraulics, water distribution, and pump systems.
Proficiency in irrigation design software such as AutoCAD, RainCAD, or similar programs.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with clients and colleagues.
Detailoriented with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
