Job Description:
Colleague is currently looking for an Irrigation Manager in the Houston, TX area The Irrigation Manager will be working for an upscale Residential Landscape company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop irrigation plans and designs tailored to each project's unique requirements, considering factors such as plant types, soil composition, and water conservation principles.
- Lead a team of irrigation technicians in the installation, programming, and testing of irrigation systems, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of existing irrigation systems to identify inefficiencies, leaks, or malfunctions, and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Monitor weather patterns and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly to optimize water usage and minimize runoff.
- Collaborate with landscape designers, horticulturists, and other team members to integrate irrigation solutions seamlessly into overall landscape designs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in irrigation management, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance our services.
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in irrigation management, with a proven track record of designing and overseeing irrigation systems for upscale residential and commercial properties.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation principles, including hydraulics, water distribution, and pump systems.
- Proficiency in irrigation design software such as AutoCAD, RainCAD, or similar programs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with clients and colleagues.
- Detailoriented with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Pay:
$75, $95,000.00 per year
