Mission Statement

Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for directing the management and support of the company's electronic medical database systems, data collection and reports. Oversight of electronic medical record system roadmap for continuous improvement and support of business processes.
  • Manage and supervise professional staff, consultants, and contracted team members.

Monitor the efforts of consultants, affiliated hospitals, and Third Party service providers to insure compliance with Federal, State, and City regulations.


  • Oversee business processes associated with medical surveillance programs including but not limited to weight, respirator qualification, asbestos, lead, silica and World Trade Center. Support the program to screen Commercial Motor Vehicle drivers for obstructive sleep apnea, including vendor management.
  • Plan, schedule and direct company and contractor workforce with the objectives of achieving the most efficient use of resources within budgetary guidelines.
  • Accountable for compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) agencies of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA), the Americans with Disability Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Department of Labor (DOL), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and CEONY policies and procedures.
  • Establish meaningful goals and objectives to attain productivity increases, while monitoring their effects of the level of service provided to our customers and preparation of longterm strategies to continuously improve performance and processes. Partner with Medical Director to ensure programs and oversight are achieving internal goals and supporting customer needs.
  • Responsible for contract oversight and vendor management including short term disability/FMLA/NYSPFL vendor, EAP vendor and staffing contractor.
  • Responsible for annual review of policies and continuity plans related to EWC and oversight of EWC Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly reporting.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 Years work experience 8 years of relevant experience of which six (6) years must have been in a managerial/supervisory capacity.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Health or a closely related field and 8 Years of related work experience Experience in healthcare administration or a related field,

Relevant Work Experience

  • 810 years 8 years of experience of which six (6) years must have been in a managerial/supervisory capacity. Required
  • Must have demonstrated experience in strategic planning, financial management, and operational efficiency. This includes proven abilities in setting and executing strategic goals, managing financial resources effectively, and optimizing operations to drive productivity and performance. Required
  • Must have demonstrated Leadership skills, such as, communication, decision making, strategic thinking, problem solving, delegation, motivation, conflict resolution, adaptability, team building and integrity. Required
  • Must be extremely well organized demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances, showing resilience in the face of challenges, and effectively managing change while keeping the team focused on organizational goals. This includes being open to new ideas and approaches, and adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes. Required
  • Demonstrated experience with contractor payments, vendor performance and oversight. Preferred
  • Knowledge of business analytics, federal, state and city regulations and guidelines are essential. Preferred
  • Demonstrated experience liaising with other department heads. This includes the ability to align business operations with companywide goals, fostering crossdepartmental collaboration, and driving unified strategic initiatives. Preferred
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and liaising with union representatives to address employee concerns, resolve disputes, and ensure a harmonious work environment. Preferred
