- Interpret, analyze, and redline client engineering deliverables (e.g., P&IDs, Narratives, and Cause & Effects)
- Create or adjust Control Narratives and Cause & Effects
- Compile data using EDG TECH's proprietary automation tools
- Define and develop HMI subpicture library elements and associated control logic
- Generate device control elements and standard logic efficiently
- Collaborate with client teams to design and develop HMI graphics
- Construct complex logic, state-based control, regulatory control, advanced regulatory control, and other applications
- Provide support in alarm rationalization workshops and execute results
- Setup and populate data historian and asset management system databases
- Participate in client witnessed Factory Acceptance Tests
- Review and offer insights into design documents, change orders, material requisitions, and specifications for construction or procurement purposes
- Engage with clients on all engineering and technical matters
- Contribute to business development by taking part in proposals and estimates
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- Five (5) to nine (9) years of technical experience in designing and implementing control systems
- Five (5) to nine (9) years of overall experience in the automation industry
- Hands-on technical knowledge of relevant engineering systems, engineering calculations, application of engineering and construction methods and materials, and engineering software applications
- Desire to understand plant production processes, systems, and emerging technologies
- Understanding of project execution in automation projects
- Familiarity with industry and regulatory codes and standards
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills related to engineering activities
- Work is mainly carried out in an office setting with occasional travel to off-site locations
- Field responsibilities may involve outdoor work in construction sites or plant-like environments
- Collaboration with team members, supervisors, and client personnel
- Working in construction sites or plant/shop areas with high noise levels
- Ability to wear necessary safety equipment for personal protection
- Flexibility to visit multiple job sites in a day and adapt to climate changes
- Periodic out-of-town travel may be required
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to twenty (20) pounds
- Clear speech and hearing for effective communication
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Visual acuity for analysis and investigations

Job Summary:
