    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Land Surveyor at Nelson Engineering. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting topographic surveys, land surveying, total station operations, and building surveying. We are willing to pay commute time and provide a company truck for qualified candidates in Idaho Falls, ID and surrounding areas.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in topographic surveys, land surveying, and building surveying
    • Proficiency in operating and utilizing total station equipment
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of surveying principles and practices
    • Experience with CAD, other surveying softwares, and tools
    • Minimum 3 years experience required
    • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret survey data accurately
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in measurements and documentation
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • FS certification is a plus
