Job Summary:

Under the general direction of the designated supervisor, provides volunteer coordination services. This position coordinates the recruitment, selection, placement, training, recognition, and evaluation of volunteers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist in the recruitment, orientation, supervision, recognition, and orientation and training of volunteers, as well as maintaining the volunteer database and scheduling calendar.
Responds to requests for volunteer service.
Assists with development of strategic plans and performance measures.
Provides administrative support for volunteer programs and provides customer services.
Develops and distributes community outreach materials.
May perform other essential job functions specific to the position and department assignment.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
