    Description

    Azure Project Manager ~ SME

    Open to contract, contract for hire or direct hire ~ truly looking for that best available athlete.

    Hybrid Role ~ limited travel depending on candidate's location

    *Minneapolis, Minnesota area preferred

    Top 4 things our client is looking for:

    1. Experience managing Azure infrastructure (Linux preferred)

    4. Project Manager Skills

    This individual should have a proven track record of coming in and getting things done.

    Your duties may include:

    Consultation: They might consult with clients to understand their business needs and recommend Azure services that align with their requirements.

    Deployment and Configuration: Contractors often deploy and configure Azure services according to the client's specifications. This could involve setting up virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, networking components, etc.

    Migration: Many companies are migrating their on-premises infrastructure to the cloud. Azure contractors assist in planning and executing these migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to the client's operations.

    Optimization: After deployment, they may work on optimizing Azure resources for cost-efficiency and performance. This involves monitoring usage, identifying bottlenecks, and making necessary adjustments.

    Security and Compliance: Azure contractors help ensure that the client's Azure environment meets security and compliance standards. This involves implementing security measures, configuring access controls, and staying updated on regulatory requirements.

    Troubleshooting and Support: They provide ongoing support to resolve any issues that arise with the Azure environment. This could include troubleshooting technical problems, responding to incidents, and implementing solutions to prevent future issues.

    Overall, an Azure contractor plays a crucial role in helping businesses leverage the capabilities of the Azure platform to meet their operational needs efficiently and securely.
