Description

Whole-Body Electrical Muscle Stimulation (WB-EMS) is a cutting-edge training method that uses electrodes to safely simultaneously contract all major muscle groups.

By combining movement and gentle electrical pulses, EMS is an effective and efficient fitness solution.

We are looking for a fitness trainer and group instructor interested in learning how to train clients using WB-EMS.

You will be responsible for teaching EMS small group classes of up to 5 people and EMS 1-1 personal training sessions during off-peak hours.


Responsibilities

  • Small group training using EMS for up to 5 clients
  • 1:1 and 1:2 personal training using EMS
  • Help with studio operations (light cleaning, music, water station)
  • Track sessions and detail exercises on MBO notes
  • Review each client attending for limitations/protocol
  • Perform and track strength and body composition assessments.
  • Deliver prescribed class protocols according to the client's progression notes
  • Deliver predetermined class workouts and give options to clients
  • Maintain positive cues
  • Prepare equipment and suits for each client
  • Disinfect suits after each use
  • Help clients get suited up and down
  • Demonstrate and monitor proper form and technique
  • Assist clients with scheduling and checking out appointments
  • Complete Bodybuzz certification program in Whole-Body EMS
  • Utilize tablet and EMS software to deliver effective, safe, and fun workouts
  • Track clients' sessions and results to ensure progress and make adjustments
  • Checkin with clients to ensure attendance and fill up classes
  • Help clean and maintain the studio and equipment
  • Attend meetings and events
  • Additional responsibilities as required

Required Qualifications

  • Personal trainer certification (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, NESTA, etc.)
  • Current CPR/AED
  • Attention to detail and organization
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to train all fitness levels and ages (including seniors)
  • Ability to regress and offer valid modifications for exercises on the spot
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Must be able to lift or move 50 pounds of weight

Compensation
$16-54 depending on seniority, experience, and class attendance.
