- Maintain vehicle in a clean, organized, and safe fashion.
- Observe all safety precautions and rules specified by federal, state, and Company regulations.
- Wear all PPE (hard hat, vest, safety glasses, work boots, etc.).
- Perform walk around inspection of assigned equipment (check oil, water, fuel, lights, tires, etc.).
- Visually inspect mix for proper materials.
- Drive in compliance with traffic laws and extend courtesy to other vehicles on the road.
- Drive using the A.L.W.A.Y.S Defensive Driving Systems.

Job DescriptionAt Desert Ready Mix, LLC we are always looking for drivers with great work ethic and friendly attitude. Our drivers are required to have a valid Commercial Driver License (CDL), Class A or Class B. Ready-Mix drivers spend a good deal of the day engaging with customers in operating the drum to discharge the mixed concrete. On a typical day, a ready-mix driver may deliver multiple loads of concreate, this would mean half the time driving and the other half doing a variety of other activities (truck preparation, drum operation, etc..).
