    Department Overview

    The IT Meter to Cash Application Development team is responsible for developing software and introducing new features in the Customer Care and Billing system and its Direct Interfaces. This team works closely with the IT business analyst team to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services.

    Position Summary

    We are looking for an Expert Level IT applications design analyst for the Customer Information team. The ideal candidate should be a fast learner, well-organized, and capable of adapting to fast-paced and dynamic environments. Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, developing function requirements, and functional design documents. The analyst will also be involved in analyzing defects to determine their impact and provide recommendations for resolution.

    Job Responsibilities

    Ideation:

    • Collaborate with business organizations to assess enhancement feasibility
    • Proactively identify system enhancement opportunities based on business process knowledge
    • Evaluate and contribute to business needs and requirements
    • Provide estimates for customer requests
    • Create preliminary mockups and designs

    Project:

    • Analyze and gather Functional/non-Functional requirements
    • Offer technical expertise in designing, testing, and developing applications
    • Conduct feasibility analysis and provide recommendations on alternative solutions and project strategy
    • Prepare final functional requirement and design documents
    • Collaborate with stakeholders for project approval
    • Support developers and testers as a Subject Matter Expert
    • Assist in project change controls documentation
    • Support code stabilization after deployment

    Maintenance:

    • Identify and troubleshoot potential system issues
    • Analyze production defects, determine impacts, and propose solutions
    • Contribute to defect troubleshooting and solution design
    • Assist with ad hoc requests from business and technical teams
    • Provide functional expertise to resolve business problems
    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
    • 7 years of experience in analyzing, designing, and developing functional requirements
    • Experience as a Project Manager for highly complex projects

    Desired:

    • Utility industry experience
    • Experience with CC&B Application
    • Oracle Utility C2M certification
    • Minimum 5 years of experience with Oracle CC&B applications and data modeling
    • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
    • Understanding of UML
    • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
    • Working knowledge of MS Office suite and Salesforce CRM application
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience in Call Center and Back Office operations
    • Understanding of database and schema architecture
