During your apprenticeship as a specialist for warehouse logistics (m/f) you will be deployed in the warehouse of our branches. In the logistics sector, everything revolves around the smooth flow of goods. Your most important tool in our building materials wholesale is a forklift. In order for the goods to be available on time for the construction sites, the incoming and outgoing trucks must be loaded and unloaded daily.

At the beginning of your apprenticeship, you will therefore acquire a driving license for forklift trucks and participate in a training course on cargo securing. During your apprenticeship, you will learn everything you need to know about goods receipt, incoming goods control and storage, inventory control and maintenance, quality assurance, picking, loading and tour plans, as well as shipping and accompanying documents.

In addition, you will participate in a communication training, because as a logistician, you will have regular contact with customers who pick up their orders at our branches.

The apprenticeship can be carried out in two steps. You can first complete a two-year apprenticeship as a warehouse specialist (m/f). After successfully passing the final exam, it is possible to extend the apprenticeship for another year and then take the exam to become a specialist for warehouse logistics (m/f) at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).
