Position Summary:

The Department Administrator, Electrical and Computer Engineering will play a crucial role within the team, overseeing the day-to-day academic operations.

Responsibilities include processing reimbursements, purchasing office/lab supplies, course assistant hiring, and coordinating travel arrangements for departmental faculty and students. Manages the logistics of events, seminars, and faculty meetings. Recommends new initiatives to department administrative leadership and Department Chair, and oversees individual projects. Coordinates shared resources among department to ensure coverage of operational needs. Interprets and adheres to University and school policies and serves as an information expert for departmental faculty and students.

Treats all communications and information, especially financial details, with confidentiality to uphold integrity and trust in interactions with faculty, staff, students, and vendors.


Qualifications
:

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in a related area


Required Experience:


2+ years relevant experience experience in operations and business management; human resources, managing budgets & expenditures, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
