    Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery


    to join their team In this pivotal role, you'll play a vital role in leading, supervising, and inspiring a team of nurses who provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during childbirth.

    The Labor & Delivery unit plays a crucial role in welcoming new life into the world.

    As the Nurse Manager, you'll ensure a positive and safe birthing experience for mothers and their families by:

    Providing strong leadership and supervision

    to a team of Labor & Delivery nurses, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

    Developing and implementing unit policies and procedures

    that align with best practices and regulatory requirements.

    Creating a culture of safety and quality care

    within the Labor & Delivery department.

    Recruiting, onboarding, and orienting new nursing staff.

    Mentoring and coaching

    your team members, helping them develop their skills and advance their careers.

    Scheduling and staffing the unit

    to ensure optimal patient care and staff satisfaction.

    Collaborating with physicians, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals

    to deliver coordinated care.

    Monitoring and evaluating unit performance

    and identifying areas for improvement.

    Developing and implementing educational programs

    to keep your team up-to-date on the latest evidence-based practices in Labor & Delivery care.

    Qualifications:
    Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arizona.

    Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

    Minimum three (3) years of experience as a registered nurse in Labor & Delivery.

    Minimum two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.

    Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

    Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

    Commitment to patient safety and quality care.

    Passion for women's health and childbirth.
