Primary Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the development, implementation, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate the short
- and long-term impacts of the College's workforce development initiatives.

  • Design tools to collect data through surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
  • Perform data cleaning, data management, and data analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of program evaluation data and safeguard the confidentiality of program participants.
  • Use creativity and knowledge to develop, enhance, and improve existing program evaluation methodologies, processes, and approaches.
  • Conduct literature reviews to support research projects and proposals.
  • Prepare reports for submission to granting agencies and funders.
  • Prepare materials for Human Subjects Committee reviews.
  • Write scientific articles and manuscripts for publications and presentations.
  • Participate in research meetings, seminars, conferences, and related settings.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive and productive relationships with students, staff, faculty, internal departments and programs, and external partner agencies.
  • Work as part of a team to develop and implement project plans and timelines and ensure that project deliverables are highquality and completed on time.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:


  • A master's degree in a social sciences field, program evaluation, or educational research from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant research experience.
  • A strong commitment to promoting diversity and multicultural competence in an educational, research, and work environment.
  • Ability to interact and work well with individuals from diverse educational, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative data collection tools and research methodologies (e.g., surveys, structured and openended interviews, focus groups, and observations).
  • Strong critical thinking skills and problemsolving abilities.
  • Excellent writing, editing and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to use editing and publishing tools effectively; and produce highquality scholarly work.
  • Familiarity with database management and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Qualtrics, and NVivo).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Zoom, and other webbased tools.
  • Excellent timemanagement and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fastpaced and multidisciplinary team setting.
