Description

The job of the Intervention Coordinator is to provide ongoing support to the Vista Charter Middle School in the areas of academic support and positive behavior support.

The Intervention Coordinator will work directly with the site principal, assistant principals, and grade level or content area teachers to collaboratively identify areas of instructional need for students based on current achievement data and to target specific interventions to meet those needs.

The coordinator will also work in conjunction with the Special Education Coordinator in identifying intervention needs.

Essential Job Functions(duties listed are typical but not exclusive):

Advises students, parents, and guardians for the purpose of providing information on student's progress and/or recommendations regarding academic achievement;
Collaborates on a regular basis with grade level and content area teachers, instructional coaches, counselors, and administration regarding intervention strategies and support programs leading to student success;
Monitors student records for the purpose of developing plans and/or providing information regarding students' goals

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract

$54, $94,000.00 per year
