About Versorgungsbetriebe Helgoland GmbH:
We are the energy and water supply company of the municipality of Helgoland, located on Germany's only high sea island. The company directly supplies approximately residents and their daily and holiday guests with district heating and drinking water (desalinated seawater) in accordance with the island's specific situation and seasonal fluctuations. The company has the necessary generation and distribution facilities and also takes on the provision of emergency power and technical support for the entire island and dune's electricity distribution network through operating management contracts.
