Lab Technician Assistant


Must be able to sort bolts and nuts and various hardware Re-stock test cell inventory - order parts - min computer experience required Clean shop area General labor Assist fluid techs Forklift experience or ability to learn Willingness to accept various assigned projects ability to work under pressure sometimes with competing deadlines.


Must be able to maintain production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product for shipping; moving and organizing inventory as needed; operating machinery to move items.

Other duties may be assigned.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
  • Able to lift and maneuver packages of a minimum of 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
  • Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
  • Maintains inprocess inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
  • Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
  • Maintains materialhandling equipment by completing preuse inspections; making operator repairs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Receive and distribute samples.
  • NORM testing
  • API gravity testing
  • Restock supplies
  • Waste management.
  • Inventory
  • H2S test and log results (in vent hood)
  • Sample prep centrifuge.

Qualifications Required for this Position:


Education - no minimum education requirements.


Certifications/Licenses:
A Valid Driver's License.


Experience - 6+ months experience in an Industrial setting preferred.
