We are currently seeking an
Apprentice Medical Assistant (m/f/d) for the Department of Anesthesiology, Operative Intensive Care Medicine, and Pain Therapy at Vivantes Klinikum Neukölln, starting as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

Medical assistants have a wide range of tasks that can vary greatly depending on the specialty, size, and focus of the department, such as outpatient clinics, emergency departments, diagnostic or therapeutic functional areas.

The training period is usually three years.

Your responsibilities include:

patient admission and coordination for diagnostics and treatment of outpatient and inpatient patients - medical assistance (blood draws, instrumentation, etc.) in the context of emergency medical care for patients - telephone service, care and support for patients, as well as communication with primary care physicians and other medical internal and external departments - data entry - administration of medication as directed - participation in various areas of the emergency medical service with triage - assistance in life-threatening situations - immediate implementation of first aid measures and participation in emergency care - proper preparation and, if necessary, implementation of diagnostic and therapeutic measures as directed - assistance with medical procedures, immediate communication with the physician and nursing staff about changes in the patient's condition and any special incidents.
