Rutt is currently hiring a Part-Time Bookkeeper to work in person flexible part-time hours, averaging 16 to 24 hours a week, between the hours of 8:00 a.m.
This position is responsible to accurately manage and process all accounts payable/receivables to include:
- Daily cash reconciliation
- Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling transactions and preparing journal entries.
- Manage bank activity (transactions, deposits, wire transfers, payments).
- Balance the detailed AR, AP and APUV reports to the General Ledger accounts.
- Set up and maintain Dealers in system. Manage Dealer's deposits, payments, credits, past due invoices, and process credit checks with new Dealers.
- Reconcile credit card statements and process expense reports.
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices, check runs.
- Prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements, for review by management.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearend financial statements.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- File Quarterly Sales & Use Tax Reports
- Manage petty cash fund.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting preferred with at least 2 years of related experience required.
