    Program Manager - Seattle, United States - MCG Health

    The Program Manager oversees the organization and planning of activities related to MCG organizational programs. They collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout MCG to ensure that deliverables align with project plans and are completed on schedule. Additionally, the Program Manager identifies risks, facilitates communication, and provides regular reports on all managed programs to the Manager, PMO.

    You Will:

    • Develop comprehensive program plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
    • Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including clients, executives, team members, and external partners.
    • Allocate resources effectively to meet program goals, including personnel and technology.
    • Develops, documents, and assists in developing project plans based on stakeholder input and project
    • Ensure smooth communication among the program team and stakeholders, providing timely updates on program status, milestones, and any issues that arise.
    • Maintain thorough documentation of program plans, processes, and decisions in SharePoint and Confluence.
    • Identifies, documents, and coordinates deliverables across cross-departmental gaps.
    • Runs multiple individual projects based on Program needs.
    • Creates project plans based on needs dictated by the program the Program Manager is running.
    • Identifies project blockers, risks, and issues to the projects; develops risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
    • Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure the deliverables meet established standards.
    • Operates under the assumption of Outcomes and Timeliness Trump process.
    • Coordinates and facilitates process identification and improvement as needed by Program needs.
    • Enhances internal stakeholder relationships within MCG staff to enable the Program Manager to meet objectives.
    • Reports weekly status of Programs to the PMO Manager.
    • Works with other PMO team members to coordinate PMO operational tasks as needed.
    • Responsible for continued education and/or PDU accumulation to maintain Project Management certifications.
    • Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
    • Develop and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with stakeholders to identify program requirements, and design and implement effective solutions.
    • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders regarding program policies, procedures, and best practices.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business management, computer science, project management, or a closely related field or equivalent years of experience is required.
    • At least 3 years of experience in program or project management which includes leading projects from start to finish while collaborating with multiple stakeholders is required.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, TaskRay, and/or similar project management tools is required.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels, are required.

    • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, priorities, and requirements throughout the life cycle of a program is required.

    Licensure/Certifications/Registrations/Permits:

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience managing projects or programs in engineering, software development, or healthcare preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and keep track of multiple deadlines and milestones.
    • Skill in communicating complex ideas and information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
    • Ability to think critically, analyze situations, and develop creative solutions to overcome challenges and achieve program objectives.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, team members, and executives.
    • Ability to work autonomously, effectively manage tasks under stressful conditions, and consistently meet established deadlines.

    Pay Range: $86,100 - $120,500

    Other compensation: Bonus Eligible
