Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Zerspanungsmechaniker (m/w/d) specializing in turning machine systems, you will produce workpieces for machines, devices, and systems through turning and drilling operations on conventional or computer-controlled machine tools.

This includes planning the necessary production processes, selecting the required tools, and creating programs for computer-controlled machines.

You will set up turning machines, including tools and fixtures, monitor the production process, and inspect and ensure the quality of the workpieces.

Additionally, you will maintain and service the machines you operate.

You will primarily work in metal and processing industries, such as turning shops, machine and plant construction companies, or the electrical industry.

Your work will mainly take place in machine or production halls.

Training Overview
Zerspanungsmechaniker (m/w/d) is a recognized training profession according to the Vocational Training Act (BBiG). It is assigned to the field of metal technology, with a focus on production and machining technology.
