This is a dynamic opportunity with room to grow. Phlebotomy certification is required.


Responsibilities:


  • Assisting the doctor and nurses
  • Act as Scribe to help generate reports
  • Greeting and rooming patients
  • Recording vitals
  • Drawing labs
  • Taking medical and medication history
  • Restocking supplies
  • Maintaining a clean pre and post op area, cleaning equipment
  • Communicating with patients in relation to scheduling follow up appointments.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management
  • Uphold professionalism when speaking with patients and other physicians/medical staff
  • Other tasks may be assigned as required.
  • Checking insurance eligibility
  • Authorizing of office visits and ultrasounds
  • Answer phones
  • Enter referrals and call to schedule patients
Certified Medical Assistant

Experience with insurance authorizations

Ability to multi task

Work in fast paced environment
