Position Details:


  • Salary: Hourly
  • Shift: Days, 8hour shifts
  • Status: PRN
This position is responsible for identifying and coordinating key training opportunities within the Learning Management System.

This position manages the online learning management system, which includes but is not limited to updating module content, assignments, curriculum, and student groups.

Duties include ensuring hospital staff education is deployed timely, documentation of completion is accurate, and competency record are managed/maintained.

This position will be responsible for coordinating and administering training programs, educational reporting, student contracting review and tracking, as well as data support as needed.

This position will be responsible for managing student clinical rotations within the hospital by screening, processing and scheduling school rotations in collaboration with the clinical units.

The position will partner with colleges to identify desired skill sets for clinical rotations, provide administrative support, and act as a key resource for students within the hospital.

This position will partner with other hospital departments to efficiently process clinical students and prepare them for clinical rotations within the hospital.


EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:


  • Computer skills including, but not limited to, word processing (MS Word), spreadsheet (MS Excel), data entry and management as necessary for the webbased bariatric registry, and familiarity with working within network systems.
  • Communications: phone with voice mail, fax, pagers, copiers, etc.
  • Customer oriented
  • Excellent organization and analytical skills.
  • Desire to maintain quality profession expertise and industry knowledge
  • Ability to work independently in a time oriented environment.
  • Administrative experience with demonstrated increased responsibility to manage and coordinate work.
  • Learning Management System (e.g. Healthstream) experience a plus.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:


  • AA degree in related field, or 5 years direct experience in lieu of degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Ability to meet all job physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Able to communicate with individuals from various backgrounds and languages. Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Basic to

Intermediate Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.


OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


  • Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with The Joint Commission and Title 22 standards and guidelines.
  • Always demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
