    SUD Case Manager Opportunity at Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services


    Join our mission to assist individuals with mental illness and substance addictions in leading healthier and more productive lives. Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCB) is in search of a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Case Manager to deliver SUD-related case management and counseling services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders for our St. Anthony Center CARE and Path to Recovery Teams in Cincinnati. The key focus of this role is to engage, connect, and link individuals to essential services.

    Key Responsibilities for SUD Case Manager Position:

    • Offer ongoing SUD case management services to individuals in the Over-the-Rhine community and surrounding areas requiring assistance
    • Assess clients' strengths, needs, and preferences for receiving substance use disorder treatment
    • Facilitate access to crisis stabilization services and aid in identifying treatment requirements
    • Engage clients in therapeutic practices and employ outreach strategies to ensure active participation
    • Conduct clinical sessions to address and overcome obstacles hindering client recovery
    • Provide continuous case management and referrals to essential services for improved quality of life

    Requirements for SUD Counselor/Case Manager Role:

    • Ohio CDCA certification mandatory
    • Prior experience working with individuals affected by SUD
    • Preferential consideration for LCDCII, LCDCIII, LSW, or LPC qualifications. Pay incentives for LCDCII or higher designations.
