_About the role:
_

The Church Event Coordinator cultivates and builds relationships with churches and parishes by organizing Baby Bottle Drives, Diaper Drives, organizing church volunteers to help run these events, and speaking to promote the work we do in our Centers/Clinics and in our post-abortive ministry.

The Church Event Coordinator also will help with Caring Network's annual fall and spring fundraising events. He/she will work collaboratively with Events Manager, Parish Relationships Coordinator, Church Partnerships Director, and other staff as needed. 20 hours/ week.

Responsibilities include:
_**Church Baby Bottle Drives:

Contact churches/liaisons and volunteers for Baby Bottle distribution, especially around Sanctity of Human Life Sunday and Mother's Day.
Speak at churches when requested.
Baby Bottle pick up/coordination with church liaisons & volunteers.
Contact churches/liaisons for Spring Baby Bottle Drive.
Distribute bottles to churches participating in the Spring Bottle drive.
Periodically coordinate volunteers to prepare/retag and rebag bottles for various bottle drives.

Baby Banks/Diaper Drives

Help churches establish baby banks to serve our women's clinics.
Contact churches to hold diaper drives to provide much needed supplies for our baby banks.
Work with volunteers for St. John of the Cross (Breakfast with Baby Jesus) diaper drive.

Spring Fling Auction

Assist with soliciting and packaging of Auction package donations.
Other duties as assigned/needed by the Event Manager.

Fall Celebration Banquet

Connect with churches to organize volunteers for banquet setup.
Other help as needed.

Other Events/Duties

Periodically give tours of our local centers/clinics to Pastors and ministry partners.
Speak at churches/small groups to bring awareness of CN ministry and Restore.
Other duties as assigned by Church Partnerships Director.
Work with churches to bring awareness to the ministry of Caring Network.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Creative and effective problemsolving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to respond to problems and to assist donors with a calm, courteous, and helpful manner and attitude.
Thorough understanding of legal regulations and permits required for events.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
A committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and is a participant in a local church.
Maintains a consistent lifeaffirming philosophy and would never refer or advise a woman to have an abortion.
Agree with and be willing to uphold Caring Network's Statements of Faith and Principle and Core Values; _Humility, Mutual Respect, Sacrificial Love, Optimism, Excellence, Integrity, Mission Focus, & Perseverance._
Enthusiasm for and commitment to the mission and strategy of Caring Network.
Comfortable with participating in, leading, and initiating prayer with coworkers, partners, and donors.
Ability to share the Gospel, the good news of salvation whenever the occasion arises.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Some experience in customer service, retail, event planning, or a related field preferred.
