Job DescriptionSales Manager - Metro Detroit Market

Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality colorants, is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to join their growing team in the Metro Detroit Market. This full-time, direct-hire position offers the opportunity to lead a team of Sales Representatives while achieving your own ambitious sales goals.

Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a team of Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets
Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the assigned territory
Conduct effective sales coaching and training to build team capabilities
Manage customer relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and secure new accounts
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and industry partners
Prepare insightful sales reports and forecasts to inform strategic decision-making
Collaborate with marketing and production teams to ensure seamless customer experience

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in the manufacturing, chemical, or related industries
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and achieving consistent revenue growth
Demonstrated experience in effectively leading and managing a sales team
Strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel regionally as needed
A self-motivated go-getter with a positive attitude and a drive to succeed
