Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain pump trucks
Monitor and inspect pump truck equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
Assists with plant operations and projects as assigned.
Operates medium to heavy equipment
Follows written schedules to maintain holding tanks and vessels to prevent sanitary sewer overflows
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate pump truck operations
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pump truck equipment as needed
Keep accurate records of pump truck operations, including mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance logs
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the transportation and distribution of water and wastewater

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating commercial trucks
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsement and a clean driving record
Able to obtain government issued security clearance
Knowledge of pump truck equipment and maintenance procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed

This position is classified as essential personnel and is required to work rotating 24-hour shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, and on call rotation.
