Description
Large Northbrook based automotive manufacturer specializing in CNC and multi-spindle precision machining is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager/Supervisor.

  • Managing a Quality team
  • Dealing with customer issues and complaints
  • Developing and executing control plans and PFMEA's
  • Developing and executing work instructions
  • Root cause investigation and problem solving
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Processing capability studies
  • Knowledge of MSA
  • Familiarity with automotive standards including PPAP and APQP
  • ISO 9001 or similar quality standards
Strong communication and team building skills a must

  • Blueprint reading
  • Use of calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, etc.
  • Knowledge of GD&T
  • ISO 9001:2008 or other similar standards
  • Fast paced and always changing work environments
  • Documentation
  • CMM experience helpful
  • Experience in the metals and automotive industry helpful
