    Bridge Creek Inn is seeking an energetic and experienced Maintenance Technician. This individual will be responsible for working with the Maintenance Manager to assist with day-to-day facilities operations in keeping with IRHG standards. Directly responsible for driving continuous improvement processes in the maintenance department and hotel wide. This team member will participate in total hotel maintenance activities as a member of the Bridge Creek Inn Team.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include, but are not limited to:

    • Perform maintenance and repairs, and preventative maintenance, to all areas of the hotel.
    • Service hallways, public areas, and rooms as needed along with all other tasks as assigned.
    • Complete all maintenance requests and tasks as assigned for the day.
    • Visually inspect public areas and overall resort for cleanliness, appearance, and safety.
    • Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and for the security of the hotel inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
    • Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests; Practice chemical safety rules and follows procedures for needles and other hazardous materials.
    • Report all suspicious persons, activities, or hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Manager.
    • Follow all Lost and Found protocols.
    • Maintain high standards of guest relations when in contact with the guest.
    • Ability to order supplies, to receive instructions for the day and/or to read equipment manuals including safety information.

    Located on historic Main Street Clayton, Bridge Creek Inn will feature 45-guest rooms, a coffee shop, a bar & restaurant, and multiple indoor / outdoor event venues. Best known for its mountains, rivers, and lakes, let our hotel be your basecamp for all Rabun County has to offer.

    WHAT TO EXPECT. IN THE LODGE, RESTAURANT, & ROOMS...Your schedule may vary (days, nights, weekends, holiday's) based on seasonality, covers, and hours of operation but in general you can expect to work 55 to 60.
