About the Position
The Real Property Specialist provides real estate functions by purchasing/selling county properties and managing the leases and licenses for various county divisions.

We Value- Demonstrated experience in any of the following: acquisition of real estate; real property rights; title and escrow services; contract writing; government land operations; land planning; space leasing; property management; and database management
Job Contributions- Draft Leases, Licenses, Amendments, Letters of Intent, Purchase and Sale Agreements, and Agenda Items.
Incorporate redlines and ensure their accuracy- Correspond with County Departments and outside Landlords, Tenants, and Contractors- Audit and abstract leases and files- Calendar Board Meetings and Dates for document execution- Distribute completed documentation to appropriate parties.
Maintain good rapport with these same parties- Familiarize oneself with County owned and leased properties, Supervisor Districts, electronic files, policies and procedures, and workflow- Offer ideas and opinions to better equip the real estate department and streamline work- General office duties, including opening and distributing mail and scheduling meetings- Assist in document migration to the repository, database, special projects, and other departments
Working Conditions- The position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
