The society's headquarters is located in the city of Frankfurt, in the heart of Germany. One of the most well-known Senckenberg facilities, the Senckenberg Nature Museum, is also located here.


The Senckenberg Society for Nature Research, with its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, is seeking a
Sachbearbeiter (m/w/d) im operativen Einkauf (Purchasing Clerk) for the
Finance and Procurement Department at the
Frankfurt location as soon as possible.


Your responsibilities

  • Operational purchasing
  • Processing of central ordering procedures
  • Commercial review of purchase requests
  • Monitoring of goods receipts
  • Central management of multifunctional devices and mobile phones
  • Support for fleet management (contracts, orders, taxes)
  • Assistance with analyses, monthly and annual financial statements
  • Support for process development

Your qualifications

  • Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification, ideally with some professional experience
  • Good knowledge of SAP, MM module
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
  • Confident demeanor, negotiation skills, assertiveness, and empathy when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
