Technical Purchaser/Precision Engineering (m/f/d)

The owner-managed medium-sized company smart optics Sensortechnik GmbH was founded in 1997 in Bochum. The 3D measurement systems and software developments of smart optics are established worldwide in audiology and the dental industry. With innovative solutions, smart optics sets international standards.

In the field of 3D metrology and medical 3D software, smart optics is constantly working on improving products and innovative development projects.

We are looking for competent support for our technical purchasing department with technical and commercial understanding and skills.


Your tasks:
Purchasing of electronic components, turning and milling parts, as well as commercial goods based on qualitative and commercial criteria
Planning of material requirements depending on production capacity
Maintenance of master data and creation of bills of materials in the ERP system APplus
Selection, qualification, and evaluation of suppliers
Establishment of a cooperative relationship with suppliers through quality assurance agreements
Handling of complaints


Your profile:
Technical and/or commercial education
Willingness to take on responsibility and strong focus on quality
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Ability to keep track of complex coordination tasks
Enjoyment of teamwork
