We are currently seeking a Cable Technology Service Technician (m/f/d) for DB Communication Technology GmbH at our location in Munich.

Your responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for maintenance and installation of copper and fiber optic cables.
  • You will independently perform maintenance and repairs according to current guidelines, regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
  • You will work independently on assigned tasks from the dispatch team.
  • You will update and create system documentation for any changes or new installations.
  • You will use a smartphone and tablet for communication, order processing, and documentation.
  • You will start and end your workday from your home using a company vehicle, and your work area will be close to your home.
Your profile:
  • You have completed your training in telecommunications or a related field, such as IT systems electronics or communication electronics.
  • Preferably, you have professional experience in cable technology and are willing to undergo further training to acquire any missing knowledge.
  • After a training period and completing a specialized qualification, you are willing to participate in on-call duty according to a long-term plan.
  • You are able to work independently, with a customer-oriented and responsible approach
