Key responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate care and support to residents with dementia, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
• Building significant relationships with residents and their families, encouraging a sense of trust and security.
• Assisting with activities of daily living, including personal care, meal assistance, and medication management.
• Creating a warm and engaging environment that strengthens the quality of life for residents.

Qualifications:

• Must have compassion to work with adults with cognitive decline
• Must be honest, fair, and dependable
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Must practice and promote Family Connect Care's Policies and Procedures, Core Values and Founding Principles
• Meet all health requirements and pass background checks
• Must be 18 years of age and older
• CPR Card
• Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with dementia.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with residents and their families
• Must be willing to be flexible and work the following shifts: 12pm7pm, 4pm12am, 12am8am, 10am
• 6pm, 7am3pm and 8am4pm
• Patience, resilience, and adaptability in navigating the challenges and rewards of dementia care.

Pay:
From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
