Hardware/software Installation Technician Intermediate
enGenius is looking for
Hardware/Software Installation Technicians for a prospective DOD contract within the National Capital Region.

A contract award is expected in April 2024 and will entail support to the Joint Service Provider (JSP) providing IT products, services, and solutions.

Location:
Pentagon, Arlington, VA, National Capital Region (NCR) - ONSITE

Salary Range (commensurate with experience and qualifications): $72,000 - $86,000/yearly

Critical Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or 5 or more years direct relevant experience.
Favorably adjudicated Tier 5 investigation and Active Top Secret clearance.
DODI 8570.1M IAT Level 2 certification (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

Designing and developing hardware components.
Testing hardware components individually and in tandem with external computer systems.
Analyzing systems data in order to make changes to the hardware configuration.
Completing functionality and performance tests on the final product.
Designing hardware for computerrelated products such as routers and smart devices.
Creating specifications and documents for components and completed computer systems.
Collaborating with software developers to ensure the hardware functions for its intended purpose.
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field of study is required.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience supporting DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems, or DoD support systems, consisting of the design, development, integration, and system testing of computer hardware and software.
An Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance is required. Must be eligible for and able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance for the duration of the contract.
DoD IAT level II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required.
Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, software, and electrical systems.
Familiarity with government contract work, understanding the requirements, compliance, and documentation involved.
Ability to work in a teamoriented setting and independently, as required, to achieve goals and objectives in a fastpaced, scheduledriven environment.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into efficient software solutions.
Extensive experience in working on complex projects with critical thinking and problemsolving.
