The impact you'll make:


Payroll Specialists make an immense impact on the overall satisfaction of associates throughout the organization by providing timely and accurate payroll support.

Responsible for the bi-weekly processing of payroll for about 50 hotels, Payroll Specialists follow established procedures for system entries, payroll calculations, internal and external interfaces, and other payroll audits.

The Payroll Specialist works closely with corporate and property teams and reports to the Payroll Manager.

What you'll be doing:


  • Process biweekly payroll accurately and timely in UKG (formerly UltiPro and Kronos)
  • Maintain and administer the time and attendance system in UKG
  • Analyze, audit, and maintain accurate employee tax withholding, direct deposit, wage distribution, and other related payroll data
  • Reconcile and file required labor and unemployment reports
  • Support associates with questions and payrollrelated needs
  • Assist with yearend review and processing of W2s and W2Cs
  • Research errors, determine root causes of issues, and make recommendations for ongoing process improvement
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationship with fellow associates, frequently collaborating with corporate and property teams
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Complete additional duties as assumed or assigned

Requirements:


  • At least three years payroll experience with a multistate employer
  • Fullcycle payroll processing experience preferred
  • UltiPro or Kronos experience preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced skill set with Office365 products
  • Strong focus and prioritization on customer service
  • High level of integrity while maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating professionalism
  • High degree of teamwork
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to highvolume and changing workload
  • Strong focus on organization and detail
