The Role at a Glance
- We're excited to add a Analyst, Business Analyst to our Claims Business.
What you'll be doing - Consult/analyze data and deliver data and insight into benefit status for product suit on complex Business System Analysis supporting Claimants on insurance leave.
- Act as resource to applicable internal/external stakeholders.
- Consult/collaborate/develop with business stakeholders to define and validate information technology solutions which integrate process, business rules and business data w/technology such as technical solutions requirements; issue/conflicts to management; technical research and analysis to support business operations needs; analysis to support operation needs and present findings to management; conflict that impact time, cost, scope, quality and risk of assigned projects that meet needs, goals and objectives. Maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends, assesses impact and collaborate with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions. Identify and recommend process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality.
- Using structured requirements process, articulates, documents and validates technical requirements.
- Determine and recommend technical response to identified problems, issues and/or defects by assessing impact and prioritization.
- Determine complex IT best practices and suggest how to improve current practices.
- Provide understanding business usage of IT and helping technology add value to business.
- Develop test plans and perform testing and update tables.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science
- 2 years experience in analysis, development, testing and reporting with Group Benefits Coverages and Products, engagement with Account Management, Implementation and Claims Operations, IT for Claims, Reporting, Portal IT groups.
- Experience must include: 2 years review and analyze multiple complex data sources and document data elements, data flow, relationships and dependencies
- 2 years utilize Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook to develop and maintain data models and associated metadata to forward to engineered on respective database platform
- 2 years utilize SystemOne for internal posting with Group Claims Platform; 2 years utilize BIRST for internal posting with customerfacing Reporting
- 2 years utilize Single Sign-On and partnering with external IDPs
- 2 years in Claims handling/adjudication, Plan Loading, Reporting/Portal capabilities (functional development/testing/analysis) with Paid Family Medical Leave, Absence, Short Term Disability, and Statutory Disability products.

Pay Range: $77,101/year $120,700/year
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role.
In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.
