    "RequirementsAir Cost Control ("A2C"), a subsidiary of HEICO, a leading aviation electrical interconnect product distribution Company, isseeking a Buyer / Purchasing Agent that would be primarily responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

    Purchase materials in line with inventory targets.
    Timely and effective communication of purchase orders to suppliers.
    Track the status of orders communicating and expediting as needed
    Maintain the accuracy of the master data related to their products.
    Internal communication with different departments
    Assist in resolving issues regarding damaged/inferior products, returns, invoice discrepancies, etc.
    Identify savings opportunities and secure best pricing options.
    Maintain strong communication with suppliers; resolve issues in a timely manner.
    Proactively mitigate any potential problems in supply of materials
    Lead contract negotiations and implementations with suppliers
    Analyze market and industry conditions, material costs to develop supply recommendations
    Works under department Manager to assist in determining materials demand based on inventory review and schedules


    Job Requirements:

    Education/Experience:
    High Diploma or GED equivalent required.
    3-5years of experience in related field
    Aviation/Aerospace experience helpful but not required
    Fluency or working knowledge of the French language is a plus


    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
    Excellent attention to detail
    Strong organizational skills.
    Strong work ethic (willingness to work hard and long hours, when needed).
    Strong Excel skills as well as general working knowledge of ERP reporting packages are a must.
    Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
    Must be flexible and able to multi-task in a time-sensitive environment.

    Strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly express an opinion or interpretation of various analysis, schedules or statement and results.
